About the club
...
We are a kayaking and canoe club with about 100 members based near Putney Bridge on the Thames in West London. We have members of all ages, slightly more male than female, and from all walks of life. We aim to keep membership fees affordable to all.
The club is run by volunteers and we have no paid members of staff. The club is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation, charity number 1204998 and is is bound by its constitution and run by an elected committee of about 12 people.
Apart from paddling on the Thames every week of the year we also regularly arrange sessions at Lee Valley:
and we also go on white water trips in Devon and Wales:
We have a number of people who race in racing boats
We will generally have a Christmas paddle and Christmas meal together:
