You should therefore discount my car from the calculations you will be making regarding transporting paddlers to Abbey Mills prior to the start of the paddle.

I have a small van with a roof rack and can take my own kit and two people and their kit. I don't know how to drive to the container and would be happy to meet on the day not before at a convenient place - possibly the cadet head quarters on the river to the East of the lock up to collect passengers and an additional kayak?
