It is with a very heavy heart I’ve decided to part with my beloved Trak 16 Folding Sea Kayak

It’s a lovely boat and I’ve had great fun paddling it in nice big choppy seas down in Cornwall as well as easy river paddles.

I bought it in 2018 and wanted something as close to a ‘real’ sea kayak as possible that I could store in my one-bedroom flat – which was quite a big ask – but it hasn’t disappointed me.

It edges and tracks beautifully as well as handling just like a hard shell sea kayak. And not only does it have the advantage of being able to be taken on the train – making A-to-B solo paddles really easy – the hydraulic pumps allow you to adjust the shape of the hull depending on what type of paddling you want to do.

These boats are frequently taken on expeditions and are serious Sea Kayaks rather than the cheaper ‘inflatable’ leisure boats

I’m asking £1500 (ono) as it is in great condition (apart from the bag) and I’m including a lot of accessories that I’ve collected for it along the way:

    • 1 x Spare Cockpit combing

    • 2 x Inox Lubricant for the Hydraulic pumps

    • 1 x waterproof deck back

    • 1 x Sea sock

    • 1 x Moontube inflatable roof rack

And it is fully compatible with the New Trak 2.0 components…so you don’t have to worry about spares.

So if you love the idea of a sea kayak that you can take on the bus, train, or plane as much as I do then I’m willing to let it go to a good home

Any questions give me a shout
    Many thanks
